I have a completed project! YAY!
I am TERRIBLE
about starting but not finishing lots of things, but this time I actually
finished!! This is a Granny Stripe blanket for my sweet nephew’s 1st birthday.
The pattern came from this blog. http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/granny-stripe.html (I changed up the border just a bit by using a
sc when called for a sl st and a dc when called for a sc)
My inspiration for the color combination came from
his baby bag. I love madras plaid and I think this blanket captures the feel of
it very well.
Colors used:
Red, Ivory, Spruce Green,
Orange, White, Baby Blue, and Navy.
